Psycho-Squad Event Holdings is asking for volunteers to donate time.

I have asked my field sponsor at Oakflats if it was possible to do some work on the woodsfield. This will include building three new bunkers and clearing out dead brush. They have agreed to let the woodsball community help out so we have this awsome place to continue to play at. This will most likely happen during a weekday since they are open for play on weekends. I just would like to get a feel if anyone is interested in helping before scheduling a date.

Special thanks to Vikedal for dropping off building supplies to get us started. PDT_Armataz_07

I'm free on Fridays, All day. I can swing by after school to put it a little time, but that'll most likely be late (6 PM or later)

Martin, just remember that Vikedal dropped the supplies off for Oak flats, not psycho squad event holdings, and that it is up to Chuck on how he wants to use the materials. Its cool that Chuck will allow us to give input as to what we would like to see built, so let everyone do that, don't try to determine that for them.

?????????

OK thanks.............

Actually, this has been in discussion for a bit and Vikedal contacted me before posting the offer. PSEH has been in contact with Chuck on what he will allow so I have not gone out of any agreement that has not been previously discussed. I am not the final arbirter on what gets done so if anyone else wishes I will bow out and let someone else plan this.

A time by Chuck has not been defined as of yet. We are still in talks with him on what he will allow vrs what we would like to do. I should have a much more accurate update after the event on the 18th.

Also,

Welcome to the PBM!!!

any update to this yet?

Yes actually, sorry. I thought Haasbo was going to post it but I guess I will.

Chuck is going to be out of country for a few weeks and said that when he gets back we can talk with him to get a date locked down. He gets back right before Mountain Massacre so thats when we can get a date. His plan was to do it on a Sunday and then we can play-test afterwards. No building plans have been made as of yet, he is still thinking on what he will allow. He has agreed on a plan to thin out the woods area to make it more playable. So I will update right after Mountain Massacre event on that date.

UPDATE: Talked to Dan today and let him know that Bounceoff, duck, and I have off this Friday from work and would be available to start some bunker-making if it was good with them and he said that would be fine. So we're planning on going up in the morning and probably working through most of the day. So would any one else be able to make it and help out? Post up if so! If possible bring good size screws, nails, and whatever tools you might think would come in handy as well as any extra material that would help. If its just the 3 of us we'll probably just make one good sized bunker in the meadow area of the woodsball field but if more come then maybe we can have 2 or 3 groups working on different bunkers. Bring plenty of water and some food, and eat your Wheaties for breakfast.

Phil

you can't redo the town because the bunkers are cemented down. As a side note we could have used some help today. Anyways, the meadow area is now more playable.

So you fine gentlemen DID do something with what shoddy materials I had.
Good.

That means I have an excuse to get my ass out to the field for the next Oak Flats event.

Hey Felice, long time no see! This thread was about the stuff we did to the field last year (build a bunker and move some stuff around in the city field) but I guess we could keep it going for any more fixer-upers we might want to help chuck with, like maybe gettin net back up along the parking area for safety.
