Date: Sunday, November 18th, 2007
Location: Oakflats Field
Time: 1100 - ????? (when you run out of ammo/air

Yet another event brought to you by MrMartin. Oakflats will have 2 safety refs available. We will have scenario play going in the woods field while running team eliminations in the city field. Yes, you are reading that right. Two types of games at the same time. That is for the people who wish to play/practice during the elimination tournament.

City elimination information:
7-10 person teams.
Maximum of 10 teams.
Single elimination bracket tournament
20 minuet time limit (could be adjusted per number of teams)
No charge for tournament
No placement prizes (In talk with others, hold on for an update. Or donations could be accepted.say $1.00 from each person, top 3 places take cash? )
Winning teams have bragging rights (what else do woodsballers want!!!)
Rules:
Point award system :
1 point per enemy kill with 1 bonus for whole team elimination (11 pts total).
A penalty of 1 point for each of your team members that are eliminated.
1 objective flag worth 5 pts at enemys base.

Elimination is break anywhere on body, no gun hits.
I will be the elimination coordinator and a spot is open for 2 elimination Refs (1 primary and 1 backup). If you have a team please send me an email so I can set up a pre-registration list. Don't worry if you don't have a team I am sure there will be pickups and instant teams at the event. But, pre-registration is encouraged since we ran out of slots last time.

Field fee is as per normal at $10.00 for admission/Co2. Rentals available at $25.00 (marker, Co2, 500rnds).

Hopefully it won't be another cold day sandwiched by warm days

Ya. It might finally be time for me to go HPA.
But hopefully it's vaugely warm anyway. That finger hit last time hurt more than it should have. But I'm not too hopeful since November's average is 52F, about what it was last time.

So there is the possibility of playing 7 against 10?

i think if you only have 7 players then the team with 10 just has some extra alternate players...... i cant see teams having to playing short-sided in a tourney.

Exactly why I posted 7 - 10 players so teams can balance out. I am sure for the most part it will be 10 players. There are lots of pick up people and subbing going on.

Time to head out. Hopefully there are enough teams to do the event. If not then it will be a great day to shoot anyway.

See you all there.

I don't know what happened out there today, but it was definitely not the commerodery that we all usually show eachother. I hope we can go back out and have a better outcome if we get a next time? Good games to all who played today.PDT_Armataz_23

I have lots of pics and will post them as soon as I can in a Oakflats Urban Takeover thread.

Good games were played out there. I am not going to eliborate on other events but next year if/when I can bring in sponsors we all collectivly need to act better.

Congrats to team Ass Whoop as the Oakflats Urban Takeover I winner.

Thanks to everyone who showed to make another event great.

Don't tell me there was a bunch of whiners doing dumb things. I hope everyone can realize this is a game for entertainment. We do not get paid to play we do this for fun. Competitveness is fine but at the end of the day it is just a game. Bonus balling or crying is just asking to start trouble and if people can't grow up maybe they need to realize it just reduces the number of people that will play and makes it easier for those who oppose paintball to outlaw it or put major restrictions on it.
