Hello to all in this group. My call name is CanadianBeaver. I received the call name, while playing on the Arizona Team The Dog Soldiers. I guess I got the name cause, one Im Canadian, and second I some how end up in the water if there is some about. The last time I was waste deep defending our riverside flank in Houston. Let tell you, this from experience, keep your pods above water.
Once I finished school I had to move here to Albuquerque for the job. The team was disbanded shortly after, and I ended up talking a 2 year break. Now that feel rested, and got a large tummy, I need to get back to playing paintball.
To me paintball is the great sport any could play. Your outside harnessing those natural instincts of be hunter or be hunted. I miss that focus while playing and clarity one gets once the game is done.
I use to be the average player, but I know Ive lost touch with the instinct, and reflexes I once had. I just hope that muscle memory is fast. I was always the infiltrator of the group. I always some how end up flanking, and getting behind the enemy team.
Ive played a dozen of 24 hour scenario games, including XOd one game. Ive refereed two of the events, and too many Sat. games to count. Ive played games in CA, AZ, NM, TX, and AR.
I looking to play some Rec games, and get ready for the 24 hour scenario games coming up in Aug, Oct, and Nov. Next year I will be attending D-Day Oklahoma, and whatever scenario games are in the area.
I hope to meet you all the next time youre at BeaverTown, and maybe even get in game or two.
