Goose and I were talking about road tripping up tp Colorado for this scenario game. Its probably the closest we'll get to scenario action in the South West...

Keep it in mind fellas...

It's about 122 miles north of the border...Guessing about 5 hours drive, 3 if goose is driving.

The leadership of Colorado has fallen apart. The South now has control of most of Colorado's bases & personnel, the North now must scramble to pull as many troops as they can to the front line. I-70 splits the State like a cold knife through a Bison's ribcage. Who now will hold the title for the Best of the Best. War is ugly but Civil War is Hell.

Cost: Pre-reg $10.00, Pre-reg FPO $55.00 per case
Pre-reg cut off: June 05 2005, after the cut off the registration will be $20.00, FPO $65.00 per case.
Air card: $10.00 per player, CO2 and HPA available.

Field units report sighting a small group of New Mexico Paintball Militia members moving north.
Second hand intelligence states that they still might be angry over Colorado's strangle hold of snow pack water, even though the rains have returned.
Plus they plan on bringing green chile to your backward state.

Its all speculation at this point, but I'm hoping to roll up there w/ few guys for some scenario fun...

I have a pop-up, I'm looking to park friday night (24th). What kind of facilities are near the field ? Any electric hookup ? Can you reserve a spot for me ? Food nearby ?

Are you in Springs ? There's a place just south of Springs that we camped at last summer. Can't remember the name but it had a pond and a museum (of sorts).

I'm new to you all, so let me first say hello. "Hello"

I've played paintball for 3 years, but I took a break the last 2 years. I do plain to come out and join you guys for a game, once I get my gear in order.

I was part of a scenario team, and I still maintain contact with many players. There are alot other of games in the area.

There have been games High Rolls, NM (Amagrodo), and in Phoenix this year. I know another game in Prescott, AZ (south of Flagstaff) sometime around Aug.

I'm sure there are a few others as well.

Well my girl and I are free to go and are looking forward to heading out there. Wookie...Goose, still down for packing ourselves in my explorer and heading out? I'm thinking meet at my house that Friday about 5:00pm to pack it up, u can leave your cars there if you want. Then stay at that residence marriot, that darkcyde can hook it up with a good price for, Friday and Saturday night then leave back home Sunday morning. How does this sound to u guys? Let me know so we can register our paint and admission and all that.

We need to leave Abq before 5:00 pm. I dont want to get there at Midnight. I was hoping to leave at 1:00 or 2:00 pm and have some dinner and maybe go have a beer and hang out with the campers for a while the night before.

Anyways, I guess I could take a half of a day off on that Friday which means I'd be out at 11:30, so we could meet at like 12:00 and get something to eat on our way out of Albuquerque. I will probably do it on Friday...Now, i'm assuming I only need to pay the registeristration costs, and that I buy the paint when i get there? Plus I dont think I'll need a case of paint...not unless an egrip magicly appears before then....

Ok, looking at it I would say circle North and put Black Light in parentheses.

As far as position goes, circle whatever flips your switch.
I think I'll go Medic.

The SpecFor I was refering to was a group affiliation on A5OG. And that can only be done if we impress a current SpecFor member on the field.

No worries Phil. The lady at the desk, and I presume owner, asked if we could take care of the particulars on the 24th when we arrive. She has my CC number and I have a confirmation number so we are good to go. She also said the Motel was completely renovated 18 months ago. Wooms ahh rarry rice. heh, I had a dream last night about Border Wars. Me and Liz and Goose were playing then we realized that we forgot Wookie at that parking lot so we called his cell and his wife answered and said she'd go pick him up and take him back home. Then while we were playing some one lit up Goose with like 30 rounds so I went and grabbed the guy's marker and threw it as far as I could. Then Benny (the marker tech/ref at PBA) said I was kicked out for doing that, but we all ran into the ranks of people so they couldn't find us and kick us out. Crazy dream, I woke up and was like...DO NOT FORGET WOOKIE AT THE PARKING LOT.

I asked what cammo would work best out at battlecreek and they said that it is really green there now, so wear yer BDU type stuff.
I also asked how many people pre-registered and the unofficial count is a little over 100.

T-4 DAYS

Update: CaptainWedge is our Northern CO

As you know we will be playing with the BlackLight Company. While being attached to them we will be part of what will be called "Alpha Company", as Alpha Company we will mostly be focusing on fighting at the front lines, but we will also be rotating around a little doing base security and maybe some RTO along with helping Eagle Force complete missions. This means while being part of Alpha company we are going to have to move quickly and aggresively. Probly the only time we will be defensive is when we secure a location during a mission and have to hold it for points. There is more NEW information on the gameplay and a map at

I'm asuming that HalfPint is Matt. Matt is the kid that has played with us at beavertown about 6 times, tall skinny kid that was up in the tree and got bark in his eye when that one kid fired a round in the safety zone by him on accident.
Matt is a good kid and I don't have a problem with him comming, Even though he should have asked earlier!!!, but that would mean Wookie and Goose would have to share the back seat with him so I am leaving it up to them. Goose, Wookie, PM me and let me know what you think.

I've been waiting for the money tree to drop its foliage and at last, it has. I will be bringing Caleb and his friend, Holden with me Friday afternoon and would like to meet up with you guys to walk the field. We'll be cooking our own dinner most likely and staying in the free camping area on site. I'll register us Friday evening or Sat morning. I know Caleb wants to be in demolitions. Holden and I are just along for the shooting.

P.S. Cpt Skid ended up putting all his BLC in the special spots so Goose and I are not Demo/Engineer, but Wookie still is a medic cause his people didn't want to be a medic. Kinda messed up that he only let his crew take all the role play positions, same with 10th Mtn for Eagle Force. I figure we'll kinda play how Skid wants us to with the Alpha Company but when that gets borring we'll do some of our own PaintballMilitia style special missions!!!

BTW is have an extra 2 pod case and pods I'll let you borrow. It's the kind that loops through your belt. That will get you 400 rounds. I bought one of the fancy fandango thingys like Phil.

Medic Information:
Each team will start with Med kit cards which can heal up to 5 players from non head shots. However, if the medic does not heal a player within 60 seconds the player may not be healed and must proceed to the dead zone.

Great fun guys!!! That was an absolute blast. Everyone who didn't come missed out big time!!! After that game it makes me want to make it back up there in July for their next scenario game!

Operation Vietnam
July 16th - 17th

Not much info on it yet, its not even on scenariocalendar.com yet. Wayne had a flier about it at Border Wars and on his site www.battlecreekpb.com it mentions it under events but gives no further mention of it yet. From what I remember of the flier the entry fee will be $50 and Bob Long will be there.
