Game on April 24th at Oak Flats

Anyone want to go to this next Sunday?? Here's the e-mail I got.

This is the BIG one! The grand opening of Oak Flats Paintball. (old PBA field)
It's the 24th (Sun.) and 30th (Sat) of April at the old PBA field near Oak Flat picnic grounds.
We will open at 10 am and play till 5 pm.
For directions and more information go to www.oakflatspaintball.com.
Prices are; no field fee, free CO2 (while supplies last), shoot your own paint.
Field paint sold at cost ~ $15/500 or $50/2000. Rentals are $25 including 500 rds of paint.
If you need equipment be sure to reserve it early. We will hold reserved equipment until 11 am the
day of the games. Water ($.5) and drinks ($1) will be available. No food service so bring a lunch.
Invite your friends and family and then shoot them.

Just found you guys after linking from Paintball Action and searching for "Paintball Albuquerque" ... I played for first time this past weekend (16th) at this field with some guys from SNL ... had the time of my life! Now I'm hooked big-time!

Well...I knew it would be raining at the field but I figured what the heck...let's live life on the edge, take a chance, and see what happens.

Ankle deep mudd in some spots, slippery than hell. Only got to play one game before the field became completely unplayable. Chuck, the owner of the land, and his wife, never did get her name, were very nice people and so were the rest of the guys playing. There were only about 10 of us but that can be blamed on the weather.

I'm looking forward to playing there this coming Saturday. Pray for lot's of sunshine to dry the field up. :-)

They don't have HPA up there so I will bring the fill station for whomever needs it. But for every fill you must allow Wookie one hit. That way he doesn't go away empty-handed.

Went well, we went to the Red Canyon camp group that is like 40 minutes south west of where oak flats is. It was beautiful, we hiked the trail that went along some waterfalls and there wasn't many people there. Grilled some good food up and had a blast!

well they are all talking about playing at the Oak Flats Paintball place, so they have a chrono and all that, just not HPA :(
