I'm not tryin' to start a flame war or anything, but since I have not tried any speedball tournt stuff, how is it compared to woodsball? Just curious, from what I've seen in videos, and stuff, it doesn't look like something I would get into, but I guess you can't knock it 'till you try it, eh? :?:

I don't know what it is but I prefer to crawl around in the woods as opposed to spray and pray from behind air bags speedball style. I have a lot of respect for the speeders but it's just not my style/preference of play.

From what I know, I'm in total agreeance, but like I said, I've never tried speedball, so far, it does not appeal to me.

speedball is just like woodsball, only faster and smaller...... and a lot of paint in the air.

I"ve never been there, so I'm getting my directions off of here :P
I started playing paintball, like everybody in NM before 2003, in the woods. I have expanded out into the speedball areana and have had a lot of fun doing so but my heart will always be in the woods. Personally, I have found most speedballers around are very immature though, and that has been a great turn off. Fortunately when you play with a good bunch of guys in the woods if some one is being a ***** you just tell them to get the hell out of there, where as in a speedball field you can't do that. I still randomly play speedball when nothing is going on in the woods and I feel like mowing faces.
