Top 5 Online Paintball Games
Guide Picks
From Ella Kennen,Your Guide to Paintball. What the best online paintball games are is a matter of taste, just like what the best paintball gun is. Still, most people should agree that these ones are up there. These are all games that either get a lot of visitors, or really deserve to. So get your fingers and your mouse ready and enjoy. Unlike with real paintball, you can also play all you want these games are free! (Just remember to burn some calories playing the real thing later on.)
1) Paintball Scramble (http://www.blitinteractive.com/site_examples/paintball/paintball.htm)
In Paintball Scramble, you start out on one end of the field with just 10 shots. Eliminate your opponent and move forward this will give you more ammo. The more you move forward, the more challenging it gets. If you run out of ammo try to run past your enemy before he eliminates you! Get to the Flag on the other side of the field to move up to the next level. Along the way your gun will be upgraded (actually, youll take your guns from opponents you shot).

2) King of the Hill Paintball (http://www.arcadevault.com/paintball_2.html)
This is hardly a fast-action game (you only have 5 paintballs in your gun at a time and a total of 20 balls), but its still lots fun. The King of the Hill characters say amusing comments (Were gonna kick your ass except with paint) and are fairly hard to hit in the junky backyard. When you get hit, its always in the goggles, which means paint splats diminish your field of vision. Three hits and your gone.

3) William Shatners Spplat Attack (http://www.spplatattack.com/game.php)
This is a fun Flash-based game to master. First, your eye moves a little faster than your gun. Also, like in real paintball, where you aim isnt where you hit; and the farther away your target, the more points you get for a hit, but the harder it is to do. You also have half a dozen enemies gunning for you so you have to duck as well as shoot. In this speedball-type game, you get 200 balls each level, though you can get more paint or more energy (against hits) if you hit certain targets.

4) Intergalactic Paintball (http://gamezone.kraftysworld.co.uk/action/shooting/ipaint/index.php)
Intergalactic Paintball is simple (hit each opponent 3 times and theyre out; hit the space bar to duck and reload; get hit 3 times and youre out), but with the alien theme, tons of levels, and a target area bigger than you can see at a given time, its also lots of fun. You can also submit your score (the highest scores are scary! Some people spend way too much time playing this game) or download the game to play it offline.

5) High Velocity Paintball (http://www.hvpb.com/)
High Velocity Paintball isn't for everyone -- the graphics are basic, and it's hard to learn your way around. Still, some people really enjoy this real-time, multiplayer online game (though you have to download some stuff), where you can be one of 8 player types. Your first 4 levels are free, then youre either maxed out or have to pay to increase the number of levels you can go). You can also pay for Gold Status, which allows you more space for equipment, advanced stats, and other advantages.
