You should always stretch after a day out on the paintball field. Not only does stretching help keep those after-exercise aches away, but it will increase your flexibility (and we all know you can get in strange, uncomfortable positions when playing paintball). Read on for what to do and how to do it.
Stretching Guidelines
# Always warm up before stretching. This could be doing a few slow-paced laps around the paintball field, or playing a game before stretching. Dont stretch cold!
# Stretch slowly. Dont bounce.
# Stretch until you feel a bit of tension, then hold it. Dont stretch to the point where it hurts or feel numbs.
# Focus on the stretch. You will have a fuller, more effective stretch this way.
# Hold the stretch for at least 30 seconds, unless otherwise stated.
# Breathe normally; dont hold your breath.
